We are a multi-state, Nationally registered NDIS Provider who provide essential supports to people living with disability.
As part of our NDIS Registration requirements, we are obliged to have processes and procedures in place to ensure your supports continue in the event of the unforeseen happening. Additionally, we know how important it is for you to have confidence that your chosen provider can ensure your supports are not interrupted should the unavoidable occur. We have mechanisms in place and sufficient staff employed to ensure that you support continues no matter what.
COVID-19
Our response and management during the COVID-19 pandemic has ensured that, while other providers were scaling back supports or cancelling due to issues relating to the pandemic, the supports for our clients continued. Australian Carers were named by the NDIS commission, on their COVID-19 response page, as a provider that would ensure your supports continued.
Employed Workforce
Australian Carers DO NOT use Support Workers utilising an ABN. All our Support Workers are employees of Australian Carers.
Australian Carers DO NOT use outside agencies for your Support Worker. We provide our staff with ongoing training and development, including client specific training where appropriate. We have staff in Sydney, Adelaide and Rockhampton
Our administrative team have staff members dedicated to scheduling your supports and ensuring that if the unforeseen should happen that your supports are not interrupted. Additionally, Support Workers have an after-hours number to call in the event of sudden unavoidable unavailability that is manned by one of our scheduling team. We go the extra mile to ensure that regardless of the situation, you will NOT go without your essential supports.
