In response to COVID-19 the NDIS have created a specific webpage listing a small number of providers to reach out to. Australian Carers are listed as a provider of available and approved support workers, as a result of the urgent need we are expanding services.

It’s uncertain times for us all in relation to COVID 19 and we understand that all Australian families are feeling and experiencing these times differently. Our priority at this time is to support, keep safe and continue to provide the very needed services for our Australian Carers community. As an organization we have consulted with experts in the field to ensure our practices and procedures are in line with the most up to date recommendations. We are in continued communication with these bodies, to ensure that as new information arises we are able to implement these measures into our day to day practices. We take these measures personally and seriously – with the aim to work through this time together (whilst socially distanced of course).

The gravity of the emotional strain of this time is one we take seriously and we are here to support our community in any way we can. If any support or assistance is required at this time – please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. With this, I also wish to let you know that our community has expanded!
